Personally,i get irritated quite easily when things dont go the way i want it to be,and i will simply vent my anger on my friends and family.Adding on to it,i'm quite a stubborn girl,i must get the things i want if not i will be very frustrated!Also i never think before i speak.There was once i went shopping and i cant find a pair of shoes which i saw a few days back and i went around searching for it.In the end i didnt manage to find it and i was real angry at that time.Normally people will just forget about it and get another pair but i cant,i die die also must find that pair of shoes!My friend was also angry at the moment cause she spent the whole day walking around with me!Than she told me to go home and forget about finding it and i was like 'go if you want,im gnn find it by myself!'True enough she left and i continued searching.At the end of the day i made myself so exhausted just because of that SHOE!The worse thing is, I DIDNT MANAGE TO FIND IT!
From there i learnt my lesson and tried my best to control my emotions and it works now!At least i wont go around looking for a particular pair of shoes again!
Here are some methods to get ur anger under control:
1)Take a "time out." Count to 10 before reacting or leave the situation altogether.
2). Do something physically exerting. Physical activity can provide an outlet for your emotions, especially if you're about to erupt. Go for a walk or a run, swim, lift weights or shoot baskets, for example.
3) Think carefully before you say anything so that you don't end up saying something you'll regret. Work with the person who angered you to identify solutions to the situation.
4) Find ways to calm and soothe yourself. Practice deep-breathing exercises, visualize a relaxing scene, or repeat a calming word or phrase to yourself, such as "take it easy." You can also listen to music, paint, journal or do yoga.
